1. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the WBSEDCL in removing the electrical line from the premises of the petitioner.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that having installed the electricity pole no connection can be provided to any third party save and except to the petitioner. It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the property which is owned and belongs to the petitioner cannot be used for proving any connection to the third party.

3. On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that the petition is hopelessly barred by limitation. The petitioner is trying to agitate stale and old grievances which had arisen as far back as in 2023. WBSEDCL by a communication dated 31 July 2023 had duly intimated the petitioner the reasons for non-removal of the electricity line and the options available to the petitioner. In view of the nature of disputes raised by the petitioner, there is no scope for the Writ Court to

pass any order in favour of the petitioner. WPA 11568 of 2026 stands dismissed.

4. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to respond to the communication dated 31 July 2023 in accordance with law and also consider the alternative options which have been provided by WBSEDCL.
