The affidavit of service is taken on record.

The only direction which the petitioner seeks is for a direction on the B.L. & L.R.O., Basirhat-I, North 24 Parganas to provide the information to the petitioner as directed by the Appellate Authority on 21st December, 2021 in an appeal filed by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that despite such direction, the respondent no.5 being the B.L. & L.R.O., Basirhat-I, North 24 Parganas has not complied with the said direction. After considering the submissions made by learned counsel, it is clear that respondent no.5 was directed to furnish information within 15 days of receiving this order. Although learned counsel does not know the date when the order was received by the B.L. & L.R.O., Basirhat-I, North 24 Parganas, it can be presumed that the order must have been received before filing of this writ petition which was in 9th June, 2022.

W.P.A.10244 of 2022 is accordingly allowed and disposed of by a direction on the respondent no.5 being the B.L. & L.R.O., Basirhat-I, North 24 Parganas to comply with the order of the Appellate Authority and provide the information to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of communication of this order.
