Imtiaz Alam ...... for the petitioner Mr. Navanil De ...... for the State Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in assaulting the victim housewife and as name of the petitioner appears in the injury report, we are of the opinion he does not stand on the same footing as co accused who has been granted anticipatory bail. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application being CRM(A) No. 2651 of 2022 is rejected.
