Mr. Kar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the petitioner in spite of informing the Officer-in-charge, Kaliganj Police Station, no steps have been taken. According to the petitioner he is involved in cultivation of agricultural products as well as fisheries and to that effect, has been maintaining an eco park. However, the local people over there had been resisting continuation of the business, as such he has immensely suffered financial loss.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Sucheta Banerjee, learned advocate empanelled with the Office of the Government Pleader is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

In view of the nature of the accusations made by the petitioner being on 06.08.2023, I direct that in case the same inconvenience is faced by the petitioner, a fresh representation be filed with the Officer-in-charge, Kaliganj Police Station who will take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 11660 of 2024 is disposed of.
