The conviction in this case is for offence punishable under Section 498A/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Accordingly, a senior counsel on behalf of the State is required to conduct the hearing of the case. As both the counsels appointed on 24.06.2022 are not available today, let a fresh appointment be made in favour of Mr. Bidyut Kumar Roy along with Ms. Rita Dutta and they will represent the Sate in this case. Let their appointment be regularised by the competent authority in view of the observations made herein. Let the matter come up for hearing on 06.02.2023. ( Shampa Dutt (Paul), J.)
