(Via Video Conference) Mr. Rafikul Islam Sardar ..... for the petitioner Mr. Ranjit Rajak .....for the State A senior citizen is before the Court complaining that his son and daughter-in-law are torturing him. The senior citizen, as the petitioner, seeks eviction of his son and daughter-in-law from his residence. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaints of the petitioner were registered as First Information Report. The police received a complaint April 7, 2021 which was treated as First Information Report and on investigation a charge-sheet was submitted. The petitioner also filed an application before the Executive Magistrate. Report was submitted by the police in such proceeding. There was a further complaint by the petitioner which was registered by the police as First Information Report on July 18, 2021.

A writ court need not enter into the civil disputes between the private parties. Petitioner is at liberty to approach before the learned Tribunal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act for appropriate remedy. So far as the complaints to the police are concerned, the police acted thereon as noted above. Further interference of the Court is not called for.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 11517 of 2021 is disposed of.
