The petitioner is in custody for more than three years and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not named in the FIR and his name transpired in the charge sheet.

Opposing the prayer, learned counsel for the State submits that the last witness, i.e., the Investigating officer is being examined. I have considered the material on record.

The offending weapon, bloodstained wearing apparel of the victim and some bloodstained currency notes were recovered at the instance of the petitioner. Trial is at its fag end. Considering the material on record prima facie connecting the petitioner in the alleged crime, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is disposed of.
