The writ petition is taken up for consideration when the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Habra-I, DistrictNorth Parganas has submitted a report dated 26th June, 2023 which is taken on record. A copy of the said report dated 26th June, 2023 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioners. From the report dated 26th June, 2023 it appears that Plot Nos. 311, 745/964,753,757 and 764 vest with the State and which has been classified as Bagan, Shali, Danga, Bagan and Bagan respectively in the relevant records.

In view of the report of the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Habra-I, DistrictNorth 24 Parganas, no further order need be passed on this writ petition since the vesting order is not under challenge before this Court.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of granting leave to the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law since the plots of land of the petitioners vest with the State Government.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
