Compliance report and copies of relevant documents filed by the respondent No.5 are taken on record. Copies of the same are handed over to learned advocates for the other side.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.5 submits that pursuant to an order dated 05.04.2024 passed by this Court, the National Investigating Agency has taken over the investigation of Moyna PS Case No.128 dated 02.05.2023. Appropriate notification to that effect has been issued. The case has been reregistered and is being investigated by the NIA. Learned senior counsel representing the State submits that an appeal has already been preferred against the order dated 05.04.2024 passed by this Court.

Learned counsels appearing for the petitioner and the added respondent submit that the protection granted to them through the CRPF may continue for sometime. As a compliance report has already been filed regarding transfer of investigation to the NIA, no further order need be passed in this regard.

However, the protection granted to the petitioner and the private respondent shall continue till submission of a report in final form by the NIA.

With these observations, the writ petitions are disposed of.
