The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Padmapukur Madhya Vidyalaya, Baruipur, District-24 Parganas (South). He was put under suspension as he was taken into custody in relation to a criminal case.

The petitioner has challenged the said order of suspension.

Ms. Bhattacharyya, learned Counsel for the Board submits that during the pendency of the writ petition the order of suspension has been withdrawn.

In view of such development, the challenge to the order of suspension has become infructuous and W.P.A. 10919 of 2023 is dismissed as such without any order as to costs.
