1. Affidavit-in-service be kept on record.

2. The petitioner in the instant case prays inter alia, for extension of time to file the response to the disclosure statement dated 12.05.2026.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the Union of India submits that proceedings under the governing statutes are time bound. Petitioner had sufficient time to comply with. Extension of time does not confer any vested right upon the petitioner Public interest requires expeditious conclusion.

4. Having heard the parties and upon perusing the record this Court finds that prima facie case has been made out by the petitioner. For the ends of justice I direct the petitioner to submit the response to the discloser statement on or before 16th June, 2026 peremptorily, failing which the right to file the same shall stand forfeited. The respondent authorities are at liberty to take necessary steps and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

5. With the above observations and the directions the writ petition being WPA 11284 of 2026 stands disposed of.
