We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the husband of the victim housewife. She suffered homicidal death at the matrimonial home. No explanation with regard to the circumstances in which she was murdered is offered by the petitioner. Co-accused are the female members in the matrimonial home and had been enlarged on bail. Petitioner cannot claim parity with them. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
