Learned advocate appearing for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has produced an instruction signed by the Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil), Bustee Department, D.G. Bustee Department and the Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil)/Executive Engineer (Civil), Borough-VII mentioning that the tenders have been floated before hand and the work order will be issued after September 2023.

The petitioners have paid royalty upto the second quarter that is upto September 2023 and, accordingly, the petitioners will be entitled to provide the maintenance till September 2023 for which period the royalty has been paid.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
