Ms. Trina Mitra ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for four years and one month. It is submitted that there is slow progress in the trial of the case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. There are sufficient materials connecting the petitioner with the murder. In view of the aforesaid facts, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Trial court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
