He prays for bail. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. W note that the petitioner has been identified in the course of test identification parade.

In view of the aforesaid fact and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected. Trial court is directed to take prompt steps to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
