The petitioners' proposal for one-time settlement stood rejected by the bank.

The bank has already taken steps under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 for recovery of the loan amount.

At this stage, I am of the opinion, no direction can be passed upon the bank for reconsideration of the prayer of the petitioner for one-time settlement.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

It will, however, be open for the petitioners to approach the competent forum for relief, if so advised.
