Petitioner submits that pursuant to the information furnished with Baranagar Police Station, case has been registered by the police authorities and the investigation of the case is in progress. Report submitted by Mr. Karan, learned advocate appearing for the state be kept with the record.

In view of the police authorities registering Baranagar PS Case No. 504/2024 dated 12.12.2024, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred has been subserved.

Police authorities will take the investigation to its logical conclusion by putting in their efforts.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 11867 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
