By an order dated 24.06.2025, State was directed to submit a report furnishing information. Today a report has been submitted wherefrom it reflects that in connection with Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 33 of 2025 dated 25.02.2025 police authorities have submitted charge-sheet under Section 318(4) of BNS before the jurisdictional court. Let the said report dated 02.07.2025 be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the misappropriated amount is being enjoyed by the accused persons and no steps have been taken by the police authorities to trace out the money trail or freeze the said account.

In view of the charge-sheet having been submitted, I direct the petitioner to take out appropriate application before the learned Magistrate. Learned Magistrate after hearing the State would pass necessary orders within a period of thirty days from filing of such application.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10862 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
