Mr. Rajib Kumar Basu ...for the petitioners Mr. Rajarshi Basu Mr. Parikshit Goswami ...for the State Three petitioners have filed this writ application. I direct the Principal Secretary of the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal to give the petitioners opportunity of hearing separately when they will have the liberty to be represented through their learned advocates. Such hearing is to be granted by six weeks from date of communication of this order. After such hearing, a reasoned order is to be passed and the said order is to be communicated to the petitioners by two weeks thereafter.

There is a question which is also to be decided by the Principal Secretary, School Education Department, whether the petitioner who has been working as Sahayika, her service period as such can be counted for continuing service and qualifying service for pension? This question is also to be

decided with reasons by the Principal Secretary of the School Education Department in his order.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.

The respondents are directed to act on the basis of server copy of this order.
