And In Re : Pratap Roy ..... petitioner Mr. Debasis Kar ... for the petitioner Mr. Rudradipta Nandy, learned APP Ms. Sonali Das ... for the State Liberty is granted to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner to correct the cause title.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he is in custody for two years and three months. Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show tht the petitioner was last seen with the victim and CDRs of the mobile phone collecting in the course of the investigation also show he made phone calls to the deceased prior to the incident. Incriminating materials have also been recovered from the leading statement of the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
