Mr. Keshab Chandra Das ...for the Petitioner The petitioner submits that the petitioner lodged a complaint on the basis of which Khanakul Police Station Case No. 50 of 2023 dated 20th January, 2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 114 of 2023 was started. Thereafter police submitted charge sheet after completion of investigation on 30th April, 2023.

He further submits that thereafter learned Trial Court fixes date one after another, but charge has not yet been framed. Accordingly, petitioner prays for a direction upon the Court below for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid criminal proceeding. Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is innocuous and if allowed in terms of the prayer, the opposite party will have no cause to prejudice the service of copy of application upon the opposite parties is dispensed with. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering the fact that the matter is dragging for a

considerable period of time, prayer made by the petitioner being justified is allowed.

CRR 2147 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the instant proceeding and to make his best efforts to conclude the entire proceeding preferably within a period of eight months from the next date of hearing.
