For the petitioner This revisional application has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying for expeditious disposal of Money Suit No.226 of 2020 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 7th Court at Alipore, South 24-Parganas. Mr. Robert D Rozana, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the suit has been filed in the month of July, 2020 and the defendants have only entered appearance on February, 2022 and thereafter the matter has been delayed without any progress in the suit. He submits for expeditious disposal of the suit within a period of one year.

It is found that suit has been filed on 31st July, 2020 and the defendants have entered appearance in the suit on 28th February, 2022 and date was fixed on 6th May, 2022 for filing written statement by the defendants. It is informed by the learned Advocate that the defendants have not yet submitted their written statements.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the Money Suit being No.226 of 2020 pending before it preferably within a period of one year without giving unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

With the above observation, the Civil Revisional application being C.O.1507 of 2022 stands disposed of. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary legal formalities. <, (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
