The records of the case reflect that initially a writ petition was preferred being WPA 17269 of 2023 which related to Sinthi Police Station Case No. 36 of 2023. Subsequently, records also reflect that there were certain issues relating to learned advocates representing the parties. However, one of the orders of the Co-ordinate Bench reflects that after the writ petition was taken up and the C.C.T.V. footage was also taken on record and a fresh set of lawyers were engaged, the petitioner took a different stand.

Be that as it may, presently, the writ petition has been filed with prayers against the police authorities, particularly with regard to some issues relating to recovery of weapon, search and seizure and a case is already pending before the

jurisdictional Court. It would be in the interest of justice that the petitioner takes out an appropriate application before the Court which is already in seisin of Sinthi PS Case No. 36 of 2023.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Sengupta, learned advocate along with a junior namely, Ms. Pratiti Das, learned advocate is directed to represent the State. Their appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered that the nature of the prayer so advanced and the directions passed, I am of the view that the interference of this Court is uncalled for at this belated stage. Petitioner would act in terms of the directions passed above.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 11888 of 2024 is disposed of.
