Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention and the fact that police submitted charge-sheet, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the death occurred within one year of the marriage and that the victim was five months pregnant.

The de facto complainant is represented.

Considering the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail being C.R.M. 4803 of 2021 is, thus, rejected.
