Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that when the proceedings were challenged before this Court, the subject-matter related to the challenge of the FIR. However, subsequently the investigation has progressed, although charge-sheet has not been submitted. I find that the initial order was passed on 10.08.2021 when there was interim order of stay for a period of six weeks. The interim order was thereafter extended on 07.10.2021 till November 2021. Thereafter no orders have been passed extending the interim order.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State produces the case diary. In view of the stage of the case during which the investigation process was challenged, I direct the Investigating Officer of the case to submit his report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure within a reasonable period of time, if not already submitted, before the appropriate court.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach this Court after the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, if any, are submitted.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1464 of 2021 is disposed of. Pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
