Mr. Swapan Kumar Mallick Ms. Sudeshna Das ...for the Petitioner This is an application filed by the petitioner,seeking expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 3370 of 2024 presently pending before thelearned Judicial Magistrate (4th Court) Chinsurah.

Having heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; it appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and if it is allowed in terms of the prayer made in the application, the opposite parties will have no cause to prejudice and as such, the service of copy of application upon the opposite parties is dispensed with.

Having considered the materials placed before me; I find that the prayer made by the petitioner is justified and is required to be allowed for the ends of justice. In such view of the matter, CRR 2155 of 2025 is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid

criminal proceeding being G.R. Case No. 3370 of 2024 and to make his best efforts to conclude the entire proceeding preferably within a period of eight months from the next date of hearing.
