Petitioner has approached this Court being 15.05.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.17 Rakib aggrieved by the progress of the investigation in relation of Kotwali Police Station case no.133/2023. The grievance of the petitioner was that petitioner paid a sum of Rs.10,60,000/- to the accused for employment at the Municipality. He was neither provided the employment nor the amount was refunded. To that extent information was furnished to the police authorities but no effective steps were taken.

Mr. Sen, learned Additional Government Pleader appears on behalf of the State and submits that the police authorities have at the relevant point of time taken effective steps.

Be that as it may, since the case commenced in the year 2023, I direct that if the investigation has not been concluded till date the Additional S.P./SDPO/DSP in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station, would ensure that the charge-sheet is filed at the earliest, in the alternative if the charge-sheet has already been submitted, the learned Court in seisin of the Kotwali P.S. case no. 133/2023

would take steps in accordance with law for progress of the case.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 11103 of 2023 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
