Case No.1503 of 2025 dated 11.11.2025 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/329(4)/303(2)/110/117(2)/118(2)/351(2)/3(5) /74 of the BNS, 2023.

And In the matter of: Reman Sk ... petitioner Mr. A.K. Bhowmick ... for the petitioner Mr. Somnath Adhikary ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a scuffle between neighbours. However, no grievous injury was caused. Charge-sheet has been submitted.

Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of witnesses which implicate the petitioner. He points to the injury reports of three victims. Two of the victims suffered severe injuries. One suffered injuries on vital portion of the body like the head that required stitches for repair. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
