The records of the present revisional application reflect that the same was preferred challenging the proceedings arising out of New Town Police Station Case No. 226 of 2020 dated 23.11.2020 under Sections 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

This revisional application appeared in the list and was called on 16.11.2021 when none appeared for the petitioners. Today also when the matter has been called, none represents the petitioners.

Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having regard to the stage at which the petitioners approached this Court, I am of the opinion that the petitioners should have canvassed the said points before the jurisdictional court. As such, no interference is called for at this stage.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 1466 of 2021 is dismissed.

Pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
