No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1923 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Nakshipara Police Station Case No. 245 of 2023 dated 01.04.2023 under Sections 447/326/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In Re : Human Sk @ Aftab Sk ...... petitioner Mr. Amanul Islam Mr. Sourav Mukherjee ....for the petitioner Mr. Abhra Mukherjee Mr. Dipankar Mahata ....for the State In an incident of assault, the injured suffered sharp cut injury over the left fronto temporal region. He also suffered a fracture on the scalp.

Injuries can be classified as grievous hurt. Petitioner was implicated in the incident of assault on the victim. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1923 of 2023 is dismissed.
