Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's office was ransacked at the behest of the private respondent no.4 and, as such, information was furnished with the Inspectorin-Charge, Nandigram Police Station, but Nandigram Police Station did not take any action for which the petitioner was compelled to approach this Court. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the private respondent no.4.

Consequently, police authorities are not empowered to interfere in such dispute.

However, having regard to the anxiety and agony expressed by the petitioner, police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS so that no untoward incident can happen

within the school premises. Police authorities, as such, would continue their surveillance and ensure that no further untoward incident results.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11036 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
