Heard both the parties.

Petitioner being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent authority and sitting over its representation dated 30th October, being Annexure P-5 as it appears at Page 41 of the writ petition making prayer for provisional release of the vehicle in question has filed this writ petition. Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Prev.)/respondents concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative within two weeks from the date of communication of this order and to

communicate his decision to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

It is recorded that this Court has not gone into the merit of the case and the respondents concerned while disposing the aforesaid representation shall act strictly in accordance with law.

WPA 11687 of 2021 is disposed of.
