Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about a year and was not present at the place of occurrence at the relevant time. He prays for bail.

Learned counsels for the State and defacto complainant oppose the prayer. Learned counsel for the State submits that the learned Public Prosecutor has prayed before the learned trial Court for framing charge under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

I have considered the material on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down upon consideration of the material on record on 10th January, 2025. Charges are yet to be considered.

In view of the material on record prima facie connecting the petitioner to the alleged crime, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is disposed of.
