Inspector-in-charge, Hasnabad Police Station has submitted a report dated 26th July, 2021 in the form of instructions to the learned Government Pleader. The same is taken on record.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is unable to enter his house for fear and terror unleashed by the private respondents. He further submits that his client is desirous of returning to his residence and has sought assistance of the police in this regard.

Counsel for the State submits that there are criminal cases pending against the petitioner and the private respondents. He further submits that the petitioner is on bail. He also submits that the police are willing to assist the petitioner to his residence. He submits that there is already a police picket presently

posted in the area pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 14th July, 2021.

In that view of the matter, the Inspector-incharge, Hasnabad Police Station shall assist and provide security to ensure that the petitioner is able to enter into his house and is able to live there in peace. The Inspector-in-charge, Hasnabad Police Station shall maintain continuous vigil on the said area so that there is no breach of peace. In the event, the petitioner feels insecure or complains of any threat, due security may be provided to him, at his own expense.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
