Galib ..for the State Mr. Dilip Sinha ..for the respdts. 6 The Block Development Officer, Mathurapur-I Development Block, South 24 Parganas has filed a report through his learned advocate before this Court, from which it appears that the grievance of the petitioners are genuine and the petitioners are entitled to the labour charges for reconstruction of repair work of their premises which was destroyed during "Amphan".

It is submitted by the learned advocate on behalf of the panchayat authorities that the house building assistance has been given but the labour charges under MGNREGA is yet to be paid and the same is being processed. He prays for some time for making payment.

Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Pradhan,

Mathurapur Purba Gram Panchayat to disburse the payments expeditiously preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
