1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocate representing petitioner.

However, State respondents are not represented.

3. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that though a criminal prosecution was initiated being Botanic Garden P.S. Case No. 30 of 2026 dated 17th February, 2026 under Section 69 of BNS, 2023, but on behalf of petitioner dissatisfaction is expressed with regard to manner of investigation being carried out by the investigating agency. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authority for taking certain steps in order to take forward the investigation towards right direction.

4. At this stage Court finds investigation needs to be carried out expeditiously which would

enable the investigating agency to file report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

5. Hence, writ petition stands disposed of directing the concerned police authority to take the investigation to its logical conclusion at an early date and file report before the Magistrate.

6. However, if petitioner is dissatisfied with the report to be filed before the Magistrate on conclusion of investigation, she shall be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law under Section 173 Cr. P.C. corresponding to Section 193 BNSS.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
