1. Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

2. Materials in the case diary suggests that the petitioners were involved in torturing both physically and mentally the de facto complainant.

3. The petitioner no. 1 as the husband went to the his matrimonial home and an incident of assault took place, where the de facto complainant were assaulted. Medical documents corroborate such incident of assault. De facto complainant implicates the petitioners in torturing her physically and mentally.

4. Materials in the case diary makes out a case for investigation.

5. Enlarging any of the petitioners on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

6. Under such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. The application for anticipatory bail, is thus, rejected. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
