This writ petition has been filed against nonconsideration of a representation dated 10th December, 2018 made to the District Inspector of School (SE), Kolkata/respondent no. 3, being annexure 'P-8' to the writ petition, relating to the grievance of approval of the date of joining of service in question.

Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 10th December, 2018 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative within eight weeks from the date of communication of this

order and to communicate his decision to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

Let it be recorded that this court had not gone into the merits of the case. The respondent concerned is free to decide the representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

WPA No. 9879 of 2019 is accordingly disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
