The order proposed to be passed in the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India would not cause any prejudice to the opposite parties, as such, service of notice of the present application upon the said opposite parties is dispensed with. The petitioner is the decree-holder of a decree for specific performance of an agreement for assignment of lease passed in Title Suit No. 962 of 2016.

The said decree has been put into execution, giving rise to Title Execution Case No. 26 of 2017, pending before the 2nd Court of learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Barasat, District: 24 Parganas (North). The petitioner is praying a direction for expeditious disposal of the said Execution Case.

The executing Court is requested to bring the said Execution Case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable time in accordance with law, and in doing so, shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O. 1550 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
