And In Re : Gurupada Singh ..... petitioner Mr. Achin Jana Mr. Prosenjit Ghosh ... for the petitioner Ms. Anasuya Sinha Ms. Mayukhi Mitra ... for the State Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier in December, 2021. He renews his bail prayer.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. There are ample materials implicating the petitioner in the murder. Trial is at its fag end. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
