He was called for verification of the documents and also for counselling, but his candidature has been rejected as he got less than 50% marks. The petitioner is a Scheduled Caste category candidate. Therefore, he claims his marks slightly above 45% is sufficient for getting a recommendation and subsequent appointment.

I direct the Deputy Secretary of the Board to look into the matter after giving an opportunity of hearing by four weeks from date. After such hearing, a reasoned order is to be passed by two weeks thereafter and the said order is to be communicated to the petitioner by one week thereafter.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
