... for the De facto Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the offence of trafficking of women for sexual exploitation, we are of the opinion in view of gravity of offence, this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

However, bearing in mind the protracted period of detention suffered by the petitioner, we direct the Trial Court to expedite the trial positively within 6 months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments.
