Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in subjecting the minor victim to penetrative sexual assault as appearing from her statement before Court, we are of the opinion in view of the gravity of offence, this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial positively within 6 months in view of the statutory mandate under Section of the POCSO Act without granting unnecessary adjournments.
