To that effect, information were furnished with the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station, but, no appropriate steps have been taken by the police authorities.
Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report prepared on 30th
May, 2025 by the Inspector-in-charge of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station. The report reflects that the Calcutta International Club had already received consent to operate from the West Bengal Pollution Control Board vide CTO Number WBPCB/6739076/2025 dated 19.05.2025.
In view of the report submitted by the Inspector-in-charge of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station, there is hardly any scope for this Court to interfere.
However, the petitioner would be at liberty to take steps before the appropriate forum.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11085 of 2025 is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
