The petitioner is aggrieved that her application for the post of Assistant Teacher in pure science in upper primary section has not been dealt with by the respondent, School Service Commission.

Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, learned counsel appearing for the School Service Commission, submits that the process of appointment, from the stage of award of marks, has been set aside by a Co-ordinate bench of this Court. Subsequently, the process of verifying documents and hearing grievances of the candidates were undertaken, and

as many as fifteen thousands candidates were heard. The entire selection process has been monitored eventually by a Division Bench of this Court in MAT 638 of 2022.

Pursuant to the decision of the Division Bench and the Commission on its own volition, has decided to call about one thousand and ninety candidates for verification of the documents, which includes the writ petitioner.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the School Service Commission to strictly follow the direction of the Division Bench of this Court. The writ petitioner shall be entitled to participate in the process of verification of documents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
