The instant revisional application has been filed praying for a direction upon the Learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Fifth Court at Alipore, South 24 Parganas to dispose of the Ejectment Suit no. 75 of 2017 expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

Having regard to the nature of relief sought for, the instant revisional application is taken up for consideration without prior service of notice to the opposite parties.

Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the plaintiff/petitioner and considering the fact that the pleadings in the suit are already complete and taking note of the submission of the petitioner that no interlocutory application is pending and that the Learned Court had proceeded to frame issues, I am of the view that considering the pendency of the aforesaid ejectment suit since 2017, the Learned Court should take expeditious steps to dispose of the Ejectment Suit no. 75 of 2017, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order, provided that no interlocutory application is pending.

With the above observations and directions, the revisional application being C.O. 1555 of 2024 is disposed of.

The plaintiff/petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the above revisional application along with this order to the opposite parties. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from this Court's official website.
