Learned advocate appearing for respondent no.7 submits that the building in question is old and respondent no.7 has not undertaken any new construction, only some repair work has been performed.

The Police report filed before this Court also suggests that the building in question is about 35-40 years old.

It, however, appears that Budge Budge Municipality by a notice dated May 2, 2024, sought

for certain documents from respondent no.7 regarding the allegation made by the petitioner.

Respondent no.7 replied to the same by a letter dated May 14, 2024, and submitted the necessary documents.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon Budge Budge Municipality to take a final decision following the notice dated May 2, 2024 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order. Accordingly, WPA 12005 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
