Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a teacher by profession. She is an introvert who does not mix with others. Taking advantage of this, the private respondents have been creating disturbances in the locality. They have been pelting stones at her residence, abusing her and making her life miserable. Although on the complaint of the petitioner, an FIR was registered, investigation has not been done properly. The petitioner also seeks some kind of protection for a peaceful stay at her residence.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that police are keeping a close watch on the developments in the locality.

It appears that an FIR has already been registered. If no report in the final form has been filed in the same, let the Investigating Agency conclude the investigation expeditiously and in accordance with law.

However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, WPA 11226 of 2023 is disposed of.
