AGP Mr. Pannalal Bandopadhyay ...for the State The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-consideration of the petitioner's representation dated May 18, 2022 made to the Regional Transport Authority (annexure P-7 at pages 38 to 40 to the writ petition).

This writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated May 18, 2022 within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, strictly in accordance with law upon giving an opportunity of hearing to all concerned, including the writ petitioner. Needless to mention that the authority shall pass a reasoned order within the aforesaid time period and shall communicate such order to all concerned including the writ petitioner within a week from passing thereof. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the application. The authority shall be free to take a reasoned decision strictly in accordance with law without being influenced by any observation made in this order.
