Mr. Binoy Kr. Panda Ms. Mamata Jana .....Advocates Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the former husband of the alleged victim. Marriage took place seven years ago. After one month of leaving her matrimonial home, the petitioner lodged the instant FIR alleging that the petitioner and the other in-laws had come to their place and assaulted the victim.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary, particularly to the statement of a neighbour and on the injury report. The injury report shows injury on the skin of forehead and on nails. An iron rod was seized.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statement of the neighbour contained at page 15 of the case diary and the injury report, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 1681 of 2025 is rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
